Simple C++ / Sql App

* Description:




You'll need to write a simple program (eg: ~300 lines) in Standard C++ (that means no Microsoft stuff!) that takes in an SQL table as input, connects to a DB (PostgreSQL) and gives the required output, as described in the document. (Attached)




* Requirements:




You'll need to have access to a PostgreSQL backend (preferably on a Linux/Unix machine, can be local or remote) and the code you write should be FULLY compatible with the g++ compiler




* The program should be well commented/documented:




Most importantly, you should describe clearly the header comment like how to compile it, what should I do to run your program, and so on (Like what all libs required, db connection specs etc). Just to make sure the program can be run without any trouble.




* Due Date:




I need this done ASAP, at the most - within 24 hours of posting this project.

- The full and exact requirements are described in the .doc file. Please go thru it throughly to understand what's expected of you and which areas of the code to concentrate on.




- an SQL file is provided for input, it also describes the table you'll need to create first





- To make it easy for you, I've also included complete reference documents (pdfs), and sample code




- To make it EVEN MORE easy, theres a folder containing an entire project which deals with a similar task!
