Auction/">Penny Auction Site with functionality similar to but not identical to bidcactus.com. Please see this site to get a good idea of what I need.


I will also need training to learn how to modify the site. from simple color changes, adding products, changing information, and controlling aspects of the site. We can talk about the amount of time needed for this. I would prefer to walk through changes on a teleconference.




45 days of tech support is needed which is included in the project. I'm not tech support savvy so I will most likely need you to be available to answer my client's emails about tech issues or problems with the site for the 45 days




Cold fusion is my program of choice but you can send ideas of other programs. I need the most secure and bug free program out there.




Ongoing tech support after 45 days may be requested depending on price but is not included in this project.




Once again, take a look at the bidcactus.com site to see the type of functions I want. The information below may not include all that are needed.




Develop system for the purchase of “bid packages” (credits) that a user can use to place bids. An interface will need to be developed for the user to monitor credits. When a bid is placed the price of the item will go up by the bid increment set in the admin.




Develop auction interface similar to bidcactus.com. Auctions that are about to end will appear on the front page. Others within categories.




- A countdown timer will appear on each auction that will be extended by x number of seconds each time a bid is placed. This extension period will be set for each auction by the admin.




Develop/modify bid logic to accomodate model requested.
