Help On Vps Setup With Cpanel
Required knowledge: PHP, MySQL
Hi,
I got a new unmanaged VPS that I need help in setting it up the softwares and basic configuration to run my sites. I got the VPS login info and I just need the following done on it:
1. Install CentOS and CPanel WHM Trial (I have the license on this)
2. Configure Basic Server config on Apache, PHP and Mysql and mail to run my sites.
This should be easy for those with experience. If you can harden the server a bit, then that is a plus factor to hire you. I got 3 other VPSs and move from time to time. If you win this project, then I can hire you as well from time to time when I move sites. Same work requirements as this.

FTP setup on virtual serverI have a virtual server hosted on GoGrid.com with CPANEL/WHM installed. My existing FTP sites are working, but if I install a new account and set up the username/password, I am unable to FTP to the account. Gogrid says they are not responsible, but it only happened after I had them reset the root password for me. I need someone to troubleshoot the FTP for me and get it back up and running. Thanks! |
