Product Review Website
Required knowledge: CMS, Flash, Javascript, PHP, PSD to HTML
Ive take the time to outline the exact programming requirements so please read about my project and dont just bid automatically. Basically the home page is html with a flash header and product categories that link to dynamic content, product search result pages are dynamically generated, and the product profile pages are also dynamically generated. The dynamic pages need to have a CMS to update the content. I am asking for 27 products to be uploaded to the site to ensure that the data displays correctly. The last core element is a user review script similar to CNETs download.com. To help understand the full scope of this project, Ive attached a sketch of the main pages (home, product and search results, and product profile pages). Ive also included an example from download.com of the user review experience that I like. Please show me some samples of your dynamic and CMS work. If you dont have samples yet, please provide a good reason as to why I should choose you. Ownership and copyright must be assigned to me. Also, once the files are posted to my server I will test the functionality, browser display (Internet Explorer 7, Firefox and Chrome) and CMS, before I make the final payment. Slice Artwork & Template Creation Final design artwork to be provided in layered PSD file. Website Homepage - CSS applied for text styles, background colors Product Pages Master Template Creation Bottom Navigation pages Html files will be provided Include provided Google analytics tracking code on all Html and dynamic pages Homepage Flash Elements Final design artwork to be provided in layered PSD file. Homepage Flash Header - Create a three (3) slide transitions (no animation) Include navigation buttons to navigate through the homepage slideshow Include provided Google Analytics tracking code in all Flash elements User Review Script (user experience similar to CNETs download.com) Final design artwork to be provided in layered PSD file. Im fine with using an existing script my main concern is the users experience. This CNET Download.com-style (see CNET PDF for reference) review script allows users to rank a product on a scale of 1-5 stars and make comments related to the product for other users to read on the same page. o Email notification to administrator to approve comments before adding to the website o Admin panel allows the following: Approve a Review before being listed, Delete a Review, Delete all Unapproved Reviews and Add Item for Review o Log IP address of reviewer so you know where review is coming from o Validates email before submission to keep users from submitting bad emails o Needs to fit the look of my site Dynamic Programming Database configured to my remote web server to store all information (as detailed below); configured to capture and store Submit Form data (as detailed below). 1) Submit Form: Online export of submit form information into MS Excel format. Include the following options as check boxes of blank fields: o Attach Logo o Product Name o Short Product Description (max 75 characters) o Full Product Description (max 300 characters) o URL o Category Tags (user to select up to three) - total number of tags TBD 2) Website Search Feature: Search box and submit button Returned results page with hyperlinks to appropriate internal web page JavaScript search of entire website 3) Dynamic Product Profile Feature: Initial Product data input into online database up to 27 products initially. An excel file will be provided for all 27 company and all required fields. Product information to be displayed on-page dynamically (from the online database) first on the results page then the user will click on the Product name to be taken to the Product Page.
