We are looking for reliable dependant web talent to build a site for immediate use. Our intent is to find good talent and continue to use them on this project and the scores of others that will follow. Our selection will be based on response to the project definition and must include a phone interview. Part of the interview will include a video of the general framework of the site.
Our company specializes in video production and promotion for the business community. The intent for the site is to make it clear to the customer that what we offer is video production and video promotion services. To that end, we want the landing page to be simple and clear.
On the landing page, we have a video that is being professionally produced; we will want that to be placed above the fold. Our player will need to be imbedded into the site. We want the video to have the highest level of prominence to captivate the first time visitor. Other elements on the landing page include social networking links, ability to capture contact information (email address and name) as well as clear display of our phone number. Other elements on the landing page will include links to an “About Us” page, “Services” page, Blog page (prefer a link to an external Wordpress/">WordPress Blog rather than an imbedded one), and a page titled “Why Video Works.” There will be additional pages that we will describe in phone interview.
Other elements on the landing page will include icons/links to the most prominent social networking and bookmarking sites, a section with the most recent Twitter feeds, a Press Release section. We will also need a shopping cart for services and legal sections (for terms and conditions and etc.).
The project will start as soon as possible; we have content prepared for the site. Please define your availability in response along with general estimation of how long a project like this will take. Turn around time is a critical component to selection.
